Diese Kombination hat wohl noch keiner so im Einsatz.

Unter diesen Version läuft OPN einwandfrei bei mir:

Wie ich bereits an andere Stelle geschrieben besteht hier nicht wirklich die Klarheit. Je nachdem wie man das sehen will oder wen man fragt.

Aktuell ist die 5.0.51 (Stand heute)

Ein schneller Workaround für den Treiber mysql wäre in

class/sql/drivers/driver-mysql.php

Ich habe hier lokal unter Gentoo Linux MySQL 5.0.54 ohne Probleme mit OPN am laufen. Bei Gentoo gibt es auch z.B. die MySQL 5.0.45 gar nicht. Die sind direkt von der 5.044.auf die 5.0.54 gesprungen.
Das werden die nicht ohne Grund gemacht haben.
So ein ähnliches Problem hatten wir auch z.B. mit 2 PHP Versionen. Das waren die 5.1.1 und die 5.1.3. Die beiden haben wir z.B. in der master.php gesperrt. Weil die Fehler ein Arbeiten mit OPN völlig unmöglich gemacht haben.
Das gleiche gilt wohl für die MySQL Version 5.0.45 zu gelten. Evtl. sollten wir da eine Sicherung im Installer einbauen.

danke für deine Antwort. Den Thread hatte ich schon gelesen (hatte natürlich erst einmal selbst gesucht, bevor ich die Frage gepostet habe).

Allerdings finde ich es nicht korrekt, das man auf eine ältere DB-Version downgraden muss, die offensichtlich einen Fehler enthält - nämlich das Default-Werte entgegen den MySQL-Vorgaben scheinbar doch zulässig sind bzw. wahrscheinlich ignoriert werden - um OPN installieren zu können.

Der richtige Weg sollte doch sein, OPN so anzupassen, das es mit der, im übrigen ja auch als kompatibel bezeichneten, aktuellen Version von MySQL läuft.

Was mache ich z.B., wenn mein Webhoster auf eine neuere Version von MySQL updatet und OPN dann nicht mehr läuft? Den Provider wechseln? Ich glaube nicht, das Anwender, die an einem zuverlässigen Betrieb ihrer Website interessiert sind, das mitmachen würden.

Verstehe mich bitte nicht falsch, ich bin selbst Programmierer (kommerziell unter .Net / C#) und weiß, wie viel Arbeit so ein System wie OPN macht. Gerade deshalb sollte es doch kompatibel zu möglichst vielen Datenbank- und Webserver-Versionen sein, damit es durch entsprechend häufige Nutzung auch den Stellenwert erhält, den es sicher Verdient.

Ich hoffe, das ihr bald ein Fix für das Problem bereitstellt. Dann werde ich sicher auch wieder OPN in den Testbetrieb nehmen und ggf. für meine Website nutzen.

Hallo!

Habe eben einen neuen Anlauf mit mysql 5.0.24a unternommen, und es hat endlich funktioniert.

Sieht danach aus, als gäb's mit der aktuelleren Version (5.0.45), die ich zuvor hatte, ein Problemchen bzw. diese Version von mysql hat ein Problem - wie auch immer.

Die letzten Wochen hatte ich verschiedene cms ausprobiert mit unterschiedlichen Ergebnissen. Manche liessen sich problemlos installieren, andere nicht. Drupal und joomla machten zB keine Probleme. bigace dagegen hab ich nicht zum Laufen gebracht (hab mir dafür aber auch nicht so viel Zeit genommen wie für opn).

Jetzt kann ich mir opn die nächsten Tage endlich mal genauer ansehen.

Die Ursache: Ihr versucht den text-Spalten Defaultwerte zu verpassen, dies ist lt. MySQL-Doku nicht möglich / erlaubt, siehe MySQL-Doku.

Die Frage: Könnt ihr das kurzfristig beheben? Würde gern opn ausprobieren, aber wenn schon die Testinstallation fehlschlägt hätte sich das System leider disqualifiziert...
